Coils are hydraulically pressed and baked into rigid assemblies for high dielectric and short-circuit strength. Diamond-pattern epoxy insulation improves mechanical integrity while allowing effective coolant flow. Copper or aluminum conductors are selected based on application needs.

High-efficiency rectangular wound cores reduce excitation current, minimize losses, and support quiet operation. Precision-cut, grain-oriented silicon steel laminations are fully annealed and tightly stacked to improve performance and reduce ferroresonance susceptibility.

Available fluids include mineral oil, R-Temp, and Envirotemp FR3. Each fluid is degassed and tested prior to filling. FR3 fluid provides enhanced fire safety and biodegradability for installations near occupied structures.

Moisture is removed using controlled vacuum processing to improve dielectric strength and long-term reliability. Components are prepared to reduce partial discharge risk and improve performance under load.

Cold-rolled steel tanks are pressure-tested and equipped with rolling bases, jack pads, and lifting hooks. Cabinets feature concealed hinges, tamper-proof fasteners, and full-height doors opening to 120°. A multi-stage finishing process exceeds ANSI corrosion protection standards for outdoor durability.
